a good day or a challenging day. Waking up late or hitting the snooze
button too many times can leave us with little time to relax and enjoy
our morning before starting our day. The way we start our day should
be just as important to us as eating a meal.
Working out before going to work in the morning or Just enjoying a nice
breakfast with a beautiful view while reading the morning paper can be
very relaxing for some people. Not only does your body feel good, but
you feel refreshed, wide awake and ready for anything the day may
bring your way.
So, working out, having a nice breakfast, walking the dog or getting the kids
ready for school, can all be some great reasons for getting up extra early in
the morning, but what about prayer? Most of us are used to ending our day
with prayer, but what about starting our day with prayer?
There is something about you getting up extra early just to pray that enters
you into another level with God. Perhaps it is because you could be sleeping
or doing anything else with your time, but instead you choose to spend time
with Him. If you want to see situations change right before your eyes, try 5:00
Besides fasting, 5:00 a.m. prayer is a hard sacrifice to make (Mark 1:35). It
means so much to God because He knows how hard it is for us to do it and
stick with it. If you think about it, five is the number of grace/favor. No pain,
