we now live in has so much technology that the last thing the average
person does is read a book. When it is Friday or Saturday night, the first

The media has an impact on people. People believe what they hear on
the news because they don't believe the news stations have a reason to
lie to the public. People want to do what their favorite celebrities do. It's
amazing how a company can sell a product just because they used a
particular celebrity to endorse their product.
So, when the media predicted the end of the world, the Mayan calendar
was used as the basis for the prediction. With so many scholars doing
interviews and so many movies depicting the end of the world, it was
easy for the media to plant the thought of the end of the world into the
minds of many.
The last prediction that the world would end was December 2012. It
seems that no matter how many times the media plants false predictions
about the world ending, people still fall for it, because the evidence that
the media displays to them seems so convincing.
God's Word has told us in Matthew 24:36 that not even the angels know
the day and hour. Only God knows. The media used all kinds of evidence
that they could come up with except God's Word. 2013 is evidence that,
even today, God's Word is truth.
