to long to answer our prayer that we lost things. It could have been a car,
house, apartment, job, etc. Or, perhaps there was a bill that we needed to
pay and it ended up not getting paid.
After all, Matthew 7:7 says "Ask, and it shall be given you". So, if we have
specific dates of when our bills are due, then why doesn't God make a way
for our bills to be paid by the due dates or even within the 10 day grace period
that they give us?
Well, when some of us ask God for help we give Him a time frame. Some
of us even include a date in our prayer. To God there is no such thing as
due dates. What you think the perfect time is usually is not what God thinks
is the perfect time. According to 2 Peter 3:8, "One day is with the Lord
as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day". So, what we
consider days is not the same as what God considers days.
When we are asking God for His help, we need to keep an open mind that
the answer may not always be money. Sometimes the answer will come
in the form of favor with an individual or company. We also have to take
into consideration that sometimes God did answer, but we were too busy
worrying about what we asked God for that we didn't even realize the prayer
was already answered.
Most of us have busy lives, but when we are stressed we have got to take
some time to relax. It is during that time of relaxation that the answer will just
come to us. Either you will start to feel like you have nothing to worry about
and have patience, or the answer of what you need to do will just come
to you. There is no way you can become aware of the answer during a
time of stress.
Go for a walk, listen to your favorite song, take a soothing bath, or do anything
that makes you happy. When you feel better you can sense, see, and realize
what you couldn't when you were stressed out.
