horrible and it seems like there is nothing that can make you feel better.
You see no better way to make things better. It's so overwhelming to feel
this way, but many of us go through this. For some of us it's an everyday
You notice other people being happy and enjoying their life. The whole
time you are wondering why you can't be that way and why things are
always the way they are. Your job is stressful, there's not enough money,
bills are over due, and you're always sleepy and tired.
The problem is what you are putting all of your attention on. If all you think
and stress about is your problems, then of course you are going to feel bad.
The more you think about it, the worse you feel. The worse you feel, the more
things get worse. We do this without even knowing it. It's okay to think about it
to come up with a solution, but it's not okay to drive yourself crazy.
Have you ever had an answer just come to you out of no where at the time
when you weren't even thinking about the problem at all? If you have tried
and tried to figure out what to do about something then just let it go until it's
really time to make a decision. What we like to do is try to solve the problem
way ahead of time. That doesn't mean wait until the last minute or ignore the
According to God everything has an appointed time (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8). So,
even though there are due dates there are also grace periods and granted extensions. If we don't worry ourselves to the point of being stressed out, the answer will come to us when we least expect it. The answer could come to
us during the shower, in line at the store, before going to sleep, while eating
breakfast, or while driving in the car.
If you allow the answer to come to you (by not stressing yourself out), the
answer will always come to you at just the right time and not a moment too
late. Sometimes the answer may be an answer that seems impossible. You
can't let logic convince you that it is impossible, because if it was impossible,
then the answer wouldn't have ever come to you in the first place. AT&T had it
right when they said, "think possible". That's a good motto for your life. So, don't
think the impossible instead think the possible!
